Mohit Abraham, founding member of NLA has decided to step down as a Member of Governing Board. Mohit has taken up a position at UBER in United States. Governing Board has accepted Mohit’s request and put on record his exceptional commitment and drive to make NLA a leading intellectual voice within India and aboard.
Governing Board is delighted to welcome Shekhar Sumit as a new Member of Governing Board of NLA. Shekhar is a Senior Associate, Global Energy Practice in the London office at Herbert Smith Freehills . Shekhar works on a range of matters covering different energy sectors but has a particular focus on the power sector. He is qualified to practice in India and is admitted to the Roll of Solicitors of England & Wales. Shekhar is a graduate of the WB National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata
